Weston Super Mare Pier


The Grand Pier at Weston Super Mare, Somerset was severly damaged by fire during the summer of 2008.
The pier is currently undergoing a major transformation with plans afoot for a new state of the art pavilion containing a three story fun house, laser room and some of the most technological advanced amusements in the world.

Tema Engineering of South Wales are using TCBs to repair a number of the connections on the pier's steel structure.

William Haley Structures of Somerset also used TCBs to erect a new canopy along the length of the pier.
