TCB has its own metal coating plant producing an environmentally friendly process called Greenkote® which is comparable to galvanising, although it is harder wearing and readily accepts all paint systems.

Main Stadia, Olympics 2012

Watson Steel began work on the steelwork for the 80,000 seater main Olympic Stadium in September 2008.

The stadium will host both the opening and closing ceremonies for the games of the XXX Olympiad as well as being the main hub for the athletics events during London 2012.

The stadium will be used for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games after which the upper tier will be dismantled and re-used leaving behind its legacy, a 25,000 seater athletics stadium.
