North Seaton railway viaduct in Northumberland has been strengthened by Balfour Beatty using TCBs.

It carries the Blyth and Tyne railway from Ashington to Tyneside across the river Wansbeck. The 1042 foot long viaduct known locally as "The black bridge" was built in 1926 by Cleveland Bridge.
