Goole Swing Bridge, East Yorkshire


\ Britcon Engineering Ltd of Scunthorpe were awarded the challenging job of re-strengthening the Goole swing bridge.
\ Using TCBs during a short blockade of the railway line allowed Britcon to take advange of the speed of installation.
\ The bridge takes a railway line across the river Ouse with the centre section of the brige able to be manouvred to allow tall ships to pass.
